About Me

 

    Hello! I am a bilingual self-taught data analyst. I graduated from the College of William and Mary with a BSc in Psychology. In that time I conducted surveys and published reports using SPSS to perform T-tests, and ANOVA. 

    Statistical analysis was easily my favorite area of study in college. In my career as a Spanish teacher I was more drawn to the analytical tools and metrics provided by google suite. I continued to learn data science through spending two years studying SQL and Python for data analytics.     

    My new skills include preprocessing data with libraries such as Pandas and Numpy, performing regressions and predictive analyses with Matplotlib and Scikit learn,  and then visualizing it with libraries such as Seaborn.  I seek new opportunities to put these skills to practice. Hello,  I have completed a Decision Tree Classifier Model for the famous Titanic Data set on Kaggle.  Background: Several attributes of the passengers on the titanic were collected such as: the class of their cabin, where they embarked from, and whether or not they had siblings aboard the ship.  Task: Choose which attributes most contributed to their survival and use those attributes to create a data model that predict whether or not a passenger would survive.
